Where did you go to School?
The short-lived high school called Edina West. The home of the mighty Cougars.

What extra-curricular activities were you involved in?
Tennis, Drums, and several close friends.

What was your first paying job?
Helping my brother with his paper route .50 cents per month at the age of 9.

What is your favorite childhood memory?
Not getting up to do the paper route, oh and Christmas Eve (the night that went on forever).

What games did you play when you were younger?
Capture the flag and mending my shoes so they did not leak while delivering papers.

What is your favorite song?
Lynyard Skynyrd’s Simple Man

What song brings back a good memory and why?
Dave Bruebeck’s “Take Five”. It was a happy time growing up and it brings back memories of watching my Dad play pool with my brother. Cat Stevens all the songs on his album “Tea for the Tillerman” in memory of my sister.

Can you recall a funny incident or comment about your children, nieces, nephews or siblings?
When my son Adam was just about two we were in line at Target and a lady in our line had a pager that started beeping, Adam yelled watch out Dad she is backing up.

What habit do you admire most about yourself or others?
Being around people who genuinely care about others and doing what they can to help.

Who has done something nice for you recently that you'd like to thank publicly?
All my family, friends, coworkers, and countless others that had put my wife and family in their prayers when we learned of Patty’s Breast Cancer. We are very grateful for all they have done. By the grace of God Patty is cured.

What talent do you wish you had?
Oh how I wish I could sing. When I am alone I seem to think I can, but am reminded each time I try to sing around others that I need lots of help.

If a stranger walked into your home, what might he/she regard as unusual?
Our house is in a constant state of fixing something up.

Tell us something about you that many don't know.
Our family roots take us back to many well-known and some not so well known people like, Alphonso IX The Slobber, King of De León. That I would
love to do voice over work for movie previews and other promotions.

What is your biggest fear?
Finding myself at an event I had not planned on, or having my brother wake me up to deliver papers at 4AM

What is your most treasured possession?
My family.

Name something you've done once that you can't wait to do again.
Travel to Europe

What do you do in your spare time for fun?
I love to listen to all different types of music I love my ipod.

Where did you go on your last vacation?
Itasca State Park

What is your favorite cuisine?
All whole grain cereals and many different veggies and I thoroughly enjoy a perfectly brewed cup of coffee and a cool fresh glass of water.

How long have you been in the office products industry?
27 years

What is your favorite part of your job?
Serving along side the most professional team in the industry. Everyone here really understands what it means to have a strong relationship with the customers we serve. It is why they started Innovative Office Solutions everyone values being able to get things done and helping others.

What is the most unusual request you’ve had or thing you’ve had to do for a customer?
The unusual is the usual here we just get it done. Everyone one here naturally goes the extra mile when the call comes in for help and thinks nothing of it. It is what we do.
