Cruising Down the River. Every Sunday my grandfather would play the piano and all my cousins, siblings and I would sing and then we would walk uptown to my grandfather’s store. He would open it just for us and we could each pick a treat. Our mother’s would all complain about it ruining our dinner but it happened every week.

Can you recall a funny incident or comment about your children, nieces, nephews or siblings?
Our family was in the car with the kids in the backseat. As cars passed us the people would be laughing and waving. The kids were in the back saying 1-2-3 wave, 1-2-3 joke. When I turned to watch them to figure out why people were laughing I saw the 1-2-3 joke was 3 young children flipping people off. They had observed their Dad “greeting” his friends that way and when they asked him about it , he said it was a joke. Hence, 1-2-3 joke. All three kids laugh about it to this day.
